is it a game or is it a drink?

When every second counts, you can’t lose any time. With racecars speeding at 200-mph around a track, a pit stop can make or break a driver’s chance to win. That’s why Kyle Busch and M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies have Rowdy’s Pit Crew, an elite team who work mechanical miracles. If they can change four tires in 12 seconds, what can you do?

Red and the #18 Pit Crew presents The M&M’S® Racing 12 Seconds Cup. It’s a series of mini-competitions that only you have the talent to compete in. Stay tuned each week for a new chance to play.

Get ready for the 12seconds M&M challenge

China it is untill May 2009

chicken
Five years ago today, a bunch of youngsters at two companies called The Barbarian Group and Crispin, Porter + Bogusky launched a small minisite three days in advance of the late night running of some broadcast spots. They wanted to iron out any last minute wrinkles in the site by emailing it around to a few more friends, and get a little early buzz before the spots ran.
In the next 48 hours, before the spots even had a chance to air, the little viral site that could had already bombarded the poor XServe in Crispin’s internal data center with 25 million hits. Within days, a cultural phenomenon was spawned.
All for a creepy dude in a chicken suit with garters, who looked like he was running some sort of shady web cam operation.
And here it is, five years later. Let’s take a moment to pay tribute to this noble chicken, and let’s look at the impact he had, and where his place might be in marketing today. Man, it’s a good thing I document everything in my life. The events are getting hazy, the facts are starting to be lost to the sands of time. Some pictures I can only find as lo-res GIFs. But we shall persevere!

onlive_hands_r1Even I can’t stay away from this new way of gaming. Release date set at Summer 2009. OnLive comes out of an incubator company called Rearden, which was started by Steve Perlman, the man who made zillions of 1990’s dollars off of WebTV. Apparently they’ve been working on this for 7 years, and they have a raft of major publishers on board: EA, Ubisoft, Take-Two, Atari, THQ, and so on.

Onlive or Unreal?

earth hour

Lets see how this will work out this coming Saturday.

On March 28 you can VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for one hour.
Or you can vote global warming by leaving your lights on.

The results of the election are being presented at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. We want one billion votes for Earth, to tell world leaders that we have to take action against global warming.
